Hands holding the soil of the Land of Israel

Kerem 613 · The Mission of the Land's Commandments

We are your hands
in the Holy Land

Enabling Jews of the Diaspora to merit the land-dependent commandments they cannot fulfill themselves. We experience, learn, merit and enable - your faithful emissaries in the field and the vineyard.

Months of the Year
The Mission

A bridge to the fulfillment of Mitzvot

At Kerem 613 we enable every Jew, wherever they may be, to become a true partner in fulfilling the commandments tied to the Land of Israel. Through the work of the field, study and community, we turn geographic distance into spiritual closeness - and together merit the reward of the mitzvot.

Meriting & Enabling

We fulfill in our own bodies the commandments tied to the Land, and grant the spiritual merit to our partners abroad.

Learning & Teaching

Every commandment is accompanied by deep study - from the verse, through the halacha, to the deed taking place in the field.

Faithful Emissaries

We are your emissaries. Every act is done with intention and in the name of all the partners who enable us in deed.

The Yearly Cycle

Months of the Year & the Land's Commandments

Each Hebrew month brings its own land-dependent mitzvot — the agricultural commandments of the Land of Israel that depend on the seasons, the soil and the harvest. Here you can learn the mitzvot tied to the Land, month by month, from terumah and ma'aser to shemitah, orlah and the first fruits. We are currently in Tishrei, and new mitzvot are added to it every week or two.

Partnership in the Mitzvot

Become a partner in the land-dependent mitzvot

Choose how you'd like to give and join the circle of mitzvot. Every partner receives a digital partnership certificate immediately. A handwritten parchment by a sofer STaM is sent to your address with the $18 monthly partnership.
