Kerem 613 is a platform that allows Jews around the world to take an active part in fulfilling the commandments that depend on the Land of Israel. Through partnership and support of the organization's emissaries working in the heart of the fields, every partner - wherever they may be - becomes a living part of the agricultural cycle of the Torah and the Land.
What we do
Kerem 613 is a platform that lets Jews around the world take an active part in fulfilling the commandments that depend on the Land of Israel. Each Hebrew month, our emissaries carry out a specific land-based mitzvah in the fields of the Galilee - tithes, first fruits, pe'ah, the sabbatical year, and the rest of the yearly cycle - and share the learning, the harvest, and the merit with our partners abroad.
Who it is for
Kerem 613 is for every Jew who longs to be connected to the Land and its commandments but cannot personally work its soil. Whether you live far from Israel, cannot farm, or simply wish to deepen your bond with the mitzvot tied to the earth, the platform gives you a real share in their fulfillment - equal standing for all who wish to accrue commandments of the Land.
Who builds it
The platform is built and operated by the Kerem 613 organization, together with the Belams farm in the Galilee. Our emissaries work the fields, study the sources, and document each mitzvah so that partners can follow, learn, and take part throughout the year. Every partner receives a handwritten parchment certificate by a sofer STaM, sent by mail as a lasting sign of the covenant.
Beit Bracha: the first seeds
Nearly two decades before Kerem 613, the work began under the name Beit Bracha, the first mitzvot farm. This short film follows those early days in the fields, the first hands, the first harvests, and the vision that grew into the covenant we carry today.
